Information on the health requirements and physical conditions necessary to access the services of Spa Natural Center

At Flavio Acuña Spa Natural Center, S.R.L., we care about your well-being and safety. Before enjoying our services, whether at our facilities or at your home, we ask that you take into account the following health recommendations and restrictions to ensure that your treatment is appropriate for your physical condition.

Medical Conditions

If you have any of the following medical conditions, we recommend that you consult your doctor before booking a treatment at our spa:

Cardiovascular diseases (such as hypertension or heart failure).
Chronic respiratory problems (severe asthma, COPD).
Diabetes or circulatory problems.
Recent injuries, surgeries or fractures.
Skin conditions or active infections.
Epilepsy or seizures.
Severe allergies, especially to essential oils, skin care products or other ingredients used in spa treatments.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant or think you may be, please let us know when you make your reservation. We offer specialized treatments for pregnant women, but certain services are not recommended during the first trimester or in the later stages of pregnancy.

Some of our treatments, such as deep tissue massages or certain types of exfoliation, may not be suitable during pregnancy, so we will tailor your experience to your condition.

Medications

If you are taking medications that may affect your health or your ability to receive spa treatments (such as anticoagulants, heart medications, corticosteroids, among others), we recommend that you consult your doctor before making a reservation. Some medications may increase skin sensitivity, interfere with healing or make certain treatments unsuitable for you.

Restrictions for Specific Treatments

Certain treatments may not be suitable in specific cases. For example:

Heat treatments (such as saunas or hot body wraps) are not recommended for people with hypertension or heart conditions.
Deep tissue massages or high-pressure massages may not be appropriate for people with severe muscle problems or recent wounds.
Intensive facial treatments may not be safe if you have recently received dermatological treatments or if you suffer from severe acne.

Client Consent

By booking and receiving our treatments, you declare that you are in suitable physical condition to receive the requested service. Likewise, by informing our staff of any relevant medical or health condition, you will help us adjust the treatment to your needs, thereby improving the experience and reducing any risk.

Right to Refuse Treatments

Our staff reserves the right to refuse or modify a treatment if they consider that it could be harmful to your health or if the client’s physical condition is not suitable for the requested treatment. This is to ensure your safety and well-being.

Special Precautions

For your safety and comfort, we kindly ask that you:

Avoid heavy meals or alcohol before your treatment.
Stay properly hydrated before and after receiving any treatment.
If you experience any discomfort during the treatment, inform the therapist immediately.
